IZZY THOMAS
From performing as a soloist and playing with bands, Izzy Thomas is a pianist and composer who enjoys a diverse career in South Florida.
She recently released her debut album “Close Your Eyes and Fly” this summer on all streaming platforms featuring pieces for solo piano and piano with strings and percussion. She is very much inspired by the musical community and landscape of South Florida.
She has performed in venues such as the Miami Symphony, the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables, the Bath Club in Miami beach, and has made an appearance at last year’s South Beach Jazz Festival. She has received training from pianists such Ciro Fodere, Jim Gasior, Lajos Zeke, and Bruce Dudley. She holds a B.M. from New World School of the Arts and a master’s degree from Belmont University.
